Supports critical assistance to sustain and enhance state and local emergency management capabilities at the state and local levels for all-hazard mitigation, preparedness, response and recovery including coordination of inter-governmental (federal, state, regional, local, tribal) resources, joint operations, and mutual aid compacts state-to-state and nationwide. Sub-recipients must be compliant with NIMS implementation as a condition for receipt of funds. Requires 50% match.
