EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT PERFORMANCE GRANT (EMPG) PROGRAM
Pass through determined by State. Supports critical assistance to sustain and enhance state and local emergency management capabilities at the state and local levels for all-hazard mitigation, preparedness, response and recovery including coordination of inter-governmental (federal, state, regional, local, tribal) resources, joint operations, and mutual aid compacts state-to-state and nationwide. Sub-recipients must be compliant with NIMS implementation as a condition for receipt of funds. Requires 50% match.
