In addition to individual services, the BHWC offers a variety of group sessions to learn life skills to help individuals learn skills to cope with anxiety, depression, grief/loss, stress, trauma and substance use. In group counseling, a provider works with a group of individuals who are experiencing similar concerns. Group members discuss their experiences and learn skills to help address their concerns and symptoms. Group sessions are a great way to connect with and learn from others who understand what you are going through.

Alaska Geospatial Office
The Alaska Geospatial Office is providing support for Typhoon Merbok by coordinating with state, federal and university partners to acquire post-storm imagery and elevation data for communities and ensure resources are accessible to all agencies and organizations involved in rewponse and recovery efforts. To date, post storm imagery has been acquired over 33 communities and can be found on the imagery page of the State Geoportal. UAS drone imagery is publicly available. Satellite imagery is restricted to agencies and organizations involved in response and recovery efforts.
