FAA OASIS FLIGHT SERVICE SYSTEM

I heard the test on KINY (94.9 FM) at 10:33. While the test was in progress there was music playing in the background and there was static on the radio during the test, both of which made it difficult to understand the comments made during the test. Furthermore, the test was repeated at 10:35 with the same music in the background and static, as if the radio station recorded the test and then played it again. I received no alert on my cell phone (service with AT T).

I am letting you know we heard this test at 10:30am, and it was broadcast on KFSK radio.

Only received the Alert via Telephone from the WFO in Anchorage. The nearest NOAA ALL Hazards Radio Station is located in Dillingham, Alaska, which is too far away to be received in King Salmon, Alaska. Did not hear any alarms go off in the area, and the only radio station in the area as far as I know did not send out an alert. I am concerned what would happen here in an actual event of any kind.

We were traveling between two Aleutian Island ports (Dutch Harbor to Akutan). The test was successfully received via NWR and GOES 18 EMWIN feed at the time of issuance. It was also received on the WeatherUnderground app on my cell phone (not a push notification, it was just a banner on the local page). I did not receive a notification from any other app on my phone, including FEMA and Accuweather. I also did not hear the alert broadcast on 106.7, a local radio station, or on the Juneau CBS channel. I was monitoring this channel via streaming service, YouTubeTV on Roku, which may be the reason why. I have seen banners broadcast on FOX for high wind warnings for the Juneau area before, so I figured the alert would come through on any local Juneau channel.

We are on an Inlet. There was no alert. It would be good if we can add phone numbers to the existing system such as a cell

Heard the test on KDLL in Kenai, and notification of the test for several days beforehand

We use NOAAs NWS site to check weather at home and for our boat moored about 10 miles away. I just happened to see the link on their website a couple of days ago announcing that a test was being conducted. We moor our boat in Bartlett Cove, next to the Headquarters for Glacier Bay National Park. We did not hear ANYTHING at the time of the test. It is a National Park and is right on the water. We do not run the marine radio unless we are at sea, so I would hope that they have some type of siren that would go off either at the Headquarters or at the Visitor Center. Thanks for listening.
